Story: When a film crew moves into an abandoned psychiatric hospital with a shadowy past to shoot a low budget horror film, they get more than they bargained for. The late nights and lack of sleep begin to take a toll, and the longer this crew works, the more the leaky, wet building seems to be coming back to life, feeding off its new inhabitants. As the shoot wears on, members of the crew exhibit increasingly strange behavior leaving those still sane realizing they need to get out of this place before they too succumb to the building's infectious hold, the only problem, the old hospital is not ready to let them go. "Did you see that!?" A film crew shooting a low budget horror moviemoves into a abandoned psychiatric hospital. The hospital seems to takeon a life of it's own the longer the crew stays. Little be little thecast and crew begin to notice strange things happening. I will admitthat I had pretty low expectations for this even though I did like TheWard. I also realize the movie is about a low budget film crew but justbecause that's the plot doesn't mean they only have to hire bad actors.Not only is the fake movie low budget and bad acting, the actual movieis low budget and bad acting. It's hard to knock the movie based onbudget but there comes a point where you have to realize that actingdoes matter, even in really low budget throw away movies like this. Therest of the movie was pretty much cookie cutter and not that scary tome. If you are a hardcore horror fan you may like this, I did not.Overall, the bad acting was too distracting for me to fully get intothe movie. I say D+.

A film crew shooting a horror flick in an old abandoned hospital,realise that all is not what it seems as one by one, they all seem tofall under the influence of an evil presence...
The problem I had with this film is that it's nothing that any selfrespecting horror fan hasn't seen before. It takes a while to get goingand utilizes done before clichés such as ominous music in an attempt atatmosphere. As a result it emerges as a pretty lacklustre by thenumbers effort that despite having one or two nice ideas, is simply aho-hum affair that has no real suspense or tension and the charactersare pretty uninteresting. The performances aren't great either andoverall the film simply comes across as boring. It was also far toorestrained for my liking, considering its premise could have allowedfor at least some potentially entertaining set piece kills, but it'sall to tame and cutaway.
4/10, just a dreary, dull horror for me.

The Rasmussen bro's wrote the excellent 'The Ward' which was a horror Ihappened to love and I found the writing really good (Amber Heard,drool) and while Mr Carpenter wasn't available to lend a directorialhand I'm sure he was with the Rasmussen's in spirit (get it? spirit?no? lol) The differences between 'Ward' and 'Feed' are huge but onlywhen it comes to making the story gel together as a whole. Know what Imean? Like if an experienced film-maker made this film with everythingthe 'exact' same it would be far more polished with better performancescoaxed from the actors. However we have the fast learning Rasmussenduet and really, there's worse out there. Uwe Boll anyone??? Didn'tthink so.
It's obvious from the start that this little Indie hasn't got thebackers that I'm sure we would have liked but the bro's still gave us ascary film with good gore and a decent story. I am positive theRasmussen bro's have a great future in horror and I really dig the guyswriting. Not overly impressed with they're directing acumen but we allstart somewhere and their writing talent is not in question. A solidlittle Indie horror.
