Looking for that next horror film to play with your mind and emotions?Compound Fracture is that thrill ride from beginning to end. From theminute I sat down to Streaming I was either on the edge of my seat orjumping back in shock. This is not like your typical horror film,however it will exceed your expectations. You will be shocked andamazed. It's not every day you get three iconic horror actors in onefilm. Tyler Mane, Muse Watson and Derek Mears give amazingperformances. Two thumbs up to Renae Geerlings on a well writtenscreenplay. With this star filled cast, amazing plot twists and a oldschool horror feel, Compound Fracture will have you and your friendstalking about it. I for one can't wait to see it again. A definite mustsee horror film for 2013. If you have the chance to see this film, makeit a top priority for this year.

While Compound Fracture reaches more into the thriller range thanhorror, it still manages to create a creepy, isolated environment witha few good scares while weaving a twisted tale around the Wolffsenfamily. The story was interesting and not the typical rehash of storiesalready told one thousand times. It does well to not lead you directlyto the ending and keeps you guessing. Most of the characters have depthand their personal struggles are shown juxtapose to the real threatlurking around them.

I found Compound Fracture to be a very good film, that was even betterthe second time around. The writer included little intricacies andallusions that I had not picked up or even noticed the first timeStreaminging. If you are tired of seeing the same old thriller/horror moviewith one dimensional characters and story and are looking for somethingunique to refresh the genre, Compound Fracture is one movie you do notwant to miss.

Independent film is no longer synonymous with being bad. Tyler Mane haschanged the recipe. You have to start with a nearly flawless script.Then rework it until all the inconsistencies are gone. Add three iconickillers, Tyler Mnae, Derek Mears and Muse Watson to the mix. Surroundthem with a core of incredible supporting actors. Season with just ahint of dark humor and a vigorous splash of gore. Simmer in a fortifiedcompound for ninety minutes while slowly turning up the heat. Streaming asthe terror comes to a final boil. In the end you get to feast on notonly one of the best supernatural thrillers of the year, but on one ofthe best movies of the year.
